MY SERVICES
Built on the understanding that healing is a journey unique to each person. My goal for you is a lasting sense of harmony and wholeness, significantly reducing the risk of relapsing into old patterns of depression or anxiety.

SOMATIC MINDFULNESS
Somatic mindfulness is a practice that combines mindfulness techniques with a focus on bodily sensations, aiming to enhance awareness of the mind-body connection and promote healing.
It involves paying attention to physical sensations, emotions, and thoughts in the present moment without judgment, helping individuals connect with their inner wisdom and regulate their nervous system.

NEUROPSYCHOLOGY
A field of psychology that studies the relationship between brain function and behaviour.
It focuses on how brain structures and systems relate to cognitive abilities, emotions, and behaviour. It plays a crucial role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various conditions.
MY APPROACH
I'm utterly fascinated by the human brain – this most incredible part of our being. We'll explore how your brain uniquely processes information and how past experiences, particularly trauma, can impact your nervous system. More importantly, we'll focus on how we can harness your brain's remarkable capacity for change and repair. This understanding allows us to gently guide your system towards a more regulated and peaceful state. We'll even look at how evidence shows us that positive experiences can influence your brain chemistry, helping to flood your system with beneficial hormones like oxytocin, providing a sense of happiness and relief.

You see, I believe there's no real separation between your mind and your body. You live your life in your body, and true healing embraces both. We'll often gently tune into your body's wisdom, recognising that emotions aren't just thoughts; they're felt experiences. By bridging these mind-body connections, we can access deeper layers of healing and help you regain a profound sense of safety and control within yourself.

Perhaps you've felt that uncomfortable sense of not being safe in your own skin or mind. I want to help you move beyond feeling like a victim to truly embodying the strength of a survivor. We'll work on connecting your emotional and rational brain, replacing helplessness with a quiet sense of inner safety. This allows you to respond to the world more mindfully, building a kinder, more integrated relationship with your entire self – mind, body, and brain – so you can find your own ways to self-regulate, without needing to rely on old, unhelpful coping strategies.
